Market last night to support FSA and nab some yum-o halo-halo. Here's an
update for the things still to come this week:
NINOTCHKA ROSCA COMES TO BU The renowned Filipina author, speaker,
and human rights activist will be joining BU to discuss Filipino
awareness. Come to this free event on Wednesday, April 18 at 7pm in the
Howard Thurman Center (basement of the GSU). Its open to everyone, so
bring your friends!
FAMILY DINNER will be held at 5pm on Wednesday at the GSU backcourt, so
that we can all go to the Howard Thurman Center together!
FAMILY FUN DAY The long awaited day of sun, food, and games has finally
come! This Sunday, April 22 from 10am to 2pm join FSA at Magazine Beach
(right across the BU Bridge and to the left) for a taste of elementary
school nostalgia with kickball and eggtoss, barbeque and three-legged
races. Don't know where Magazine Beach is? Meet at the GSU Link by 9:45,
where fellow FSAers will gather to walk to Magazine Beach together. FUNZO.
LUMAGEN @ HILLEL Missing your tribal dances? Want one more chance to see
that hot pinoy in loincloth? Here's your chance: Lumagen will be performed
once more on Sunday, April 18 at 5pm at Kalaniot's end of the year show
Yalla! at the Hillel House on 213 Bay State Road. Advance tickets are $5, $7 at the
door.
