What: FSA's FIRST GENERAL MEETING
When: Friday, September 14th at 7PM
Where: Warren Towers Cinema Room
Why? To meet the friendly faces of FSA of course! (And to see if you won
the FSA sweatshirt. Splash? Raffle? HELLO) A great opportunity for the
entire club to get together and hear about all the great things we have
planned for you this year! Everyone and anyone is more than welcome, so
bring your friends along! And come on time. K thanks
What: INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS CRUISE
When: Friday, September 21 at 11PM
Where: Odyssey Cruise Lines, 60 Rowes Wharf
Why? Come out with FSA to join ISC at their Annual Moonlight cruise.
It's a guaranteed good time. PROMISE! Tickets go for $25, $30, $35 then
$40 so be sure to get them as soon as you can. Tickets go on sale at the
GSU Link tomorrow, September 10th until the day of the cruise. For more

What: KANTA AT KALINGA, a fundraising event for the cause of Gawad
Kalinga, featuring the movie Paraiso, followed by performers and a
concert starring Filipino singing sensation, Joey Albert
When: Saturday, October 13
Where: Boston University Tsai Center, 685 Commonwealth Ave.
Why? GK777 is a vision that aims to build 700,000 homes and 7,000
villages in 7 years. Help third world countries get out of
poverty-stricken slums and into communities with shelter, food,
education and livelihood. A portion of the proceeds will go into
building the third Massachusetts-sponsored village in the Philippines.
FSA doing big thannngz! HOLLLLLER
What: KAMAYAN 2007, an annual show of food, dancing and the celebration
of Filipino culture. Groups from Berklee, Boston College, Brown, BU,
Northeastern University and more set to perform
When: Saturday, November 17
Where: Northeastern University
Why: To join in on the fun! DUH. Dance with FSA in a traditional or
modern piece. Or just come out to see the show! More information will be
provided later on and at the general meeting. But be sure to save the date!

What: FAMILY DINNER(S) !!!!!! YES THERE ARE 2 THIS WEEK
When: Tuesday, September 11 AKA LOBSTER NIGHT at 6:30PM
Where: Myles, meet in the hallway before the dining hall
When: Wednesday, September 12 at 6:30PM
Where: West Campus, meet outside Claflin
Why: Do we really need to give you a reason? ...REALLY?
