FAMILY DIN DIN- Wednesday, October 8 at 7:00 PM
This Wednesday, we will be having a very special Family Dinner @ the GSU. What's so special about this weeks FAM dinner you might be wondering? We will be having a PIZZA PARTY in Room 315 of the GSU! Invite all your friends, peeps that are interested in joining FSA, and everyone that would like to come hanggggg with your FAMILYSA. New and old members are ALL welcome! Let's bond and heart to heart! There's no better way to spend your Wednesday eveninggg. FREE pizza for everyone that comes- only cause we love you =)
Intramural Sports- Wednesday, October 8 at 6 PM at Fitrec
As you all know, FSA is participating in intramural volleyball this semester. If you are interested in playing for our team email your Rec Coord, Juan Castro at jucastro@bu.edu. Don't feel like playing but feel like watching some intense vball action? Come to Fitrec at 6 PM to watch the Little Brown Filipino Warriors in action!
KAMAYAN 2008
For those of you that were not able to go to the KAMAYAN showcase last Sunday, you can still sign up to dance for the show! What is Kamayan? Kamayan is District One of the Filipino Intercollegiate Networking Dialogue's (F.I.N.D) annual cultural show featuring the Filipino clubs of Boston University, Boston College, Northeastern University, Tufts University, Harvard, MIT, Brown, and Berklee. This year, BUFSA was given the honor of hosting the show and it will be held on November 22nd in the Metcalf Ballroom. BUFSA will be participating in both modern and traditional dances for the show! Love to dance? go for it! Don't dance? still do it! No prior dance experience is needed to take part in any dances. The modern set will include:
Chris Brown- With You (Choreographed by John Prestosa and Anna Francisco)
Lady Gaga- Just Dance (Choreographed by Denese Dapito and Carolyn Rosca)
Brian Mcknight- When You Wanna Come (Choreographed by Juan Castro)
Lupe Fiasco- Little Weapon (Choreographed by Auburn Santo)
Natasha Bedingfield- Angel (Choreographed by Christian Rivera)
If you are interested in being in any of these dances hit up Rivs (r1vera26@bu.edu) or Auburn (ausanto@bu.edu). We will be previewing videos of the dances again at Family Dinner this Wednesday! (another reason to come!)
KAMAYAN 2008 FIRST PRACTICE- Saturday, October 11
The first practices for KAMAYAN 2008 will be held this Saturday from 12 PM to 5 PM at Warren Cinema Room. The exact schedule for the practice will be sent to yall later this week! If you are in town for the holiday weekend, come through so you can be one step ahead of everyone else!
