1) Weekly FAMILY DINNER this week will be at Warren Towers Dining Hall this Wednesday, 12/5 at 6:30 PM . Meet at the couches near the guard booth.
2a) This Friday, December 7th, 2007 at 6:30 PM, BU's Filipino Students Association will be hosting our annual CHRISTMAS PARTY at the 1st Floor Study Lounge at the HoJo (575 Commonwealth Avenue). We will be having a potluck, talking about events to expect for the upcoming semester, voting for our new freshmen rep and having a grab bag gift exchange!
For our potluck, all members who attend and want to eat must bring the following according to class. Don't forget friends - no food, no eats! =) To make sure there is enough food for everyone, please e-mail the class reps with what you will be bringing and the amount of people that can be served.
SENIORS (Esp - esp586@bu.edu) AND JUNIORS (Rob - supanova@bu.edu) - Bring ENTREES
SOPHOMORES (Alex - anrazon@bu.edu) - Bring DESSERTS & APPETIZERS!
FRESHMEN (Carolyn - carolyn2@bu.edu) - Bring DRINKS, NAPKINS, CUPS, PLATES, UTENSILS, etc. - make sure to coordinate with one another!
2b) GRAB BAG GIFT EXCHANGE AKA BROWN CARIBOU
Everyone please bring a gift worth at least $5. We will be having a gift exchange... the rules of the game will be explained at the meeting!
2c) FRESHMEN REP ELECTIONS - Calling all BUFSA freshmen! Interested in becoming a part of the e-board? Want to see how the e-board works, take a part in planning our major cultural event ISA: The World Is One in the spring as well as other events? Learn more about being part of our great team! Everyone interested in running for freshmen rep should e-mail bufsa@bu.edu with your Letter of Intent (a statement about why you want to run for freshmen rep and why you think you'd make a good one!). Be prepared to give a 2 minute speech and answer questions. ALSO, come DRESSED TO IMPRESS! Voting takes place Friday.
