Hey FSA peeps
Kamayan practices have finally started and all the dances look hottt!!! Keep up those sexy dance moves and make sure to go to weekend practices. Look out for an email from your dance coords with details about times and locations.
Now get ready for an FSA-fun-filled week! (like the alliteration?) Here's the ishh plus info you need to know:
Family Dinner – Wed. Oct. 22 – 7pm – The Atrium
So we're changing it up again and bringing you a special dinner to eat with your fellow FSAers. Dinner will be hosted at the Atrium and your Eboard will be cooking you ADOBO and SINIGANG!!! Get excited cause this is a great way to bond while enjoying some Filipino dishes.
The Atrium (1079 Comm. Ave.) is located near Packard's Corner T-stop around Super 88 and StarMarket. We'll meet right outside to sign peeps in. If you have any problems finding the place or getting in, call Carlo Dumandan (516.849.4140) or Auburn Santo (707.853.2779)
Intramural Sports: Volleyball Game – Wed. Oct. 22 – 8pm – FitRec.
Come watch and support your Little Brown Filipino Warriors play a hard core game of volleyball. Contact your Rec. Coord. / Team Captains for any questions.
More Eating and Dog Decorating – Fri. Oct. 24 – 8pm / 10pm – Noodle Street / SAC gym
Start the weekend with more eating time with FSA lovelies. Dinner at Noodle Street (627 Comm. Ave.) at 8pm.
Afterward (around 10pm), we'll all head over to the Student Activities Center gym (1 University Rd.) to participate in SAO's Deck out the Dogs event! Our group will be decorating a statue of the BU mascot: Rhett the Terrier. It's a competition and the group with the best decorated Rhett gets prizes! Plus it'll be a great way hanging out and having fun with FSA. There's free food, music, and general fun-ness. Sooo definitely come out this Friday night; it'll be good times.
Halo-Halloween: bufsa 2nd General Meeting – Fri. Oct. 31 – 7pm – 1019 Comm. Ave.
We know it's a bit aways but mark your calendar for our second general meeting on Halloween! More details about it in next week's email but we need to ask for some participants:
So we will be having a "Fear Factor" type function as a part of our meeting. Two people from each class will compete in various tasks such as eating things and answering trivia. So we are asking volunteers to represent your class! If you would like to participate contact the following:

FIND Dialogue – Nov. 14-16 – Rutgers University, NJ
BUFSA is a part of FIND: the Filipino Intercollegiate Networking Dialogue. Their purpose is to promote unity and cooperation among Filipino students from different parts of the country. This year, FIND Dialogue (a conference in where the different districts get together) will be held at Rutgers University. As you all know, Kamayan is coming up on Nov. 22, hosted right here at GSU Metcalf Hall. A great way to support is to submit an adjournal. Ask your family and friends or even create one yourself! It's an awesome way to showcase your class or even as a dedication to a special someone. Attached is the adjournal form with directions on how to complete it.
